Pregnancy Calendar - Trimester

                Most of the women undergo emotional changes and shift in their moods. During pregnancy it is not a strange phenomenon that pregnant women are having mood changes, anxiety, worries, sudden excitement and other emotional outbursts. In the 1st trimester, the pregnant women  will have changes undergoing in their body because of the gradual growing of the baby inside their womb. Pregnant women should take it easy and should not feel worried when they face these discomforts since these uncomfortable feelings will vanish as the pregnancy gradually progresses. When you feel that you may be pregnant, you have to visit a good physician for taking a pregnancy test. Once it is confirmed that you are pregnant, you have to take steps to learn more about your forthcoming baby and how to take care of yourself. 

Week 1 – 3 :

               First two weeks of pregnancy the woman’s body is getting ready to ovulatevulate. Third week, the Zygote divides into cells. The embryo of the baby is 0.006 inches long.

Week 4 :

               Mother feels tired and gets ready to feel the symptoms of pregnancy.Blastocyst is multiplying, when the egg gets divided .When it comes to uterus, one half is transformed into placenta and another one becomes the baby.

Week 5 :

                Breasts swell and become tender. Mother may feel morning sickness and change in appetite. Now the embryo is about 0.05 inches long.

Week 6 :

                Mother should relax well as there is work going on inside the body. For the baby, major organs start growing. Eyes and other facial features start forming. Now the embryo’s length is 8-11 mm long.

Week 7 :

                Mother feels more morning sickness and loses interest in appetite. The baby starts moving and its heart beat is about 150 beats per minute.

Week 8 :

                As the hormones levels increase, mother’s skin may look different. Baby’s skin and veins become visible. Its length is approximately 0.56 inches.
